A small, fixed-wing plane split into two after slamming into three cars stopped at a Texas intersection, leaving five injured.
One person was flown to a trauma center for treatment, while others went to local hospitals, KHOU reported.
Flight data says the twin-piston Navajo plane took off at 9:52 a.m. and began circling the area near the airport, gaining and losing altitude, ranging from 14,000 to 10,00 feet over four hours.
The Piper PA-31 was registered to an oil and gas surveyor based in Mississippi.
